Our TeamDecember 12, 2024
As we wrap up 2024, we reflect on our journey from humble beginnings to our achievements today. Farm Euro is more than just a place where milk and natural products are made—it’s the result of hard work, learning, and dedication to a simple mission: producing high-quality, safe, and healthy food while building trust within our community.
Though we are still a young farm, we are proud of the strides we’ve made and our commitment to continuous growth. This article provides a complete overview of our story—from our beginnings in 2021, through the challenges and successes of 2024, to our ambitious plans for 2025.
Our story began in 2021, with our first steps in cattle fattening. This was the foundation of our vision: to create a farm that would set standards in agriculture and food production in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By 2022, we strategically shifted to dairy farming, importing 64 pregnant heifers of Austrian Simmental and later 33 German Simmental heifers, forming a herd of 97 cows—the cornerstone of our raw milk production.
From then on, every aspect of our operations focused on quality—from feeding and animal health to rigorous hygiene standards and investments in modern equipment. Today, we are proud that our milk meets the “extra class” standards set by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.
Our journey began with the import of 64 Austrian Simmental heifers, followed by 33 German Simmental heifers. This foundational herd laid the groundwork for our raw milk production.
The initial years were full of challenges. We had to:
Despite these challenges, we succeeded in:
Raw milk production has always been our primary focus, and that will not change. We understand that milk quality requires attention, dedication, and daily effort.
In 2024, we maintained our “extra class” milk status, meeting the highest quality standards through:
Healthy cows produce healthy milk. That philosophy guides everything we do, including:
In 2024, we ventured into producing natural jams and juices, testing the market and learning from customer feedback.
Though not yet formally on the market, our jams and juices have been showcased at fairs across Bosnia and Herzegovina. Feedback from hundreds of people has been overwhelmingly positive:
In 2025, we plan to officially launch our jam and juice line, using seasonal local fruits and eco-friendly packaging to preserve product quality.
One of our most significant projects in 2024 was constructing our cheese production facility, which is nearing completion.
Cheese production will play a vital role in our future strategy, focusing on high-quality cheeses that blend traditional methods with modern standards.
Though we have not yet begun honey production, we explored this potential in 2024. Honey aligns perfectly with our values, and we plan to take initial steps in this field in the coming years.
Our certifications are not just formalities; they are a testament to our hard work and commitment:
Looking ahead, our goals are clear:
Farm Euro is on a journey of growth. While we are not perfect, we are dedicated and strive to improve every day. Our story is far from over; it is written daily through our work, learning, and connections with our community.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We eagerly look forward to what 2025 has in store.
From Autumn 2024, we are launching the largest online agriculture community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are dedicated to your success and healthy nutrition.
Our milk achieves extra-class quality thanks to strict hygiene standards, regular laboratory testing, and meticulous care for the herd's health. All cows follow a tailored diet and undergo regular veterinary check-ups to ensure the highest level of quality.
During 2024, we tested our jams and juices at fairs and events, and we plan to formally launch them on the market in 2025. Our focus is on using seasonal fruits and natural production methods.
The cheese production facility is currently in the final stages of construction, with cheese production planned for the first quarter of 2025. Our equipment and processes will comply with HACCP and halal standards to ensure top-quality products.
We are currently working on plans to implement renewable energy sources as part of our long-term sustainability strategy. Our goal is to reduce our environmental footprint and make the farm as efficient as possible.
We conduct regular veterinary check-ups, hoof care, and preventive treatments daily. Our herd's diet is carefully tailored to their needs, while hygiene standards include the disinfection of barns and equipment, ensuring optimal conditions for the animals' health.
